5 Steps to Get Your Company Started

If your company is brand new to Planmaster, here is the easiest order to set things up:

1. Set Up Your Departments & Job Titles

Head over to Settings > Company Config > Departments. Add your common departments (like Engineering, Accounts, Site Operations) and designations (like Project Manager, Site Engineer, Supervisor).

2. Add Your Team Members

Go to Settings > Users and click New User. Add your colleagues with their work email, choose whether they are an Admin, Engineer, or General User, and give them a starting password.

3. Add Your Clients

Go to Clients and click New Client. Enter the company name of your clients (like Prestige Estates or L&T), their contact person, phone number, and billing address.

4. Create Your First Project

Go to Projects and click New. Give it a project code (like PRJ-001), choose the client you added in Step 3, enter the project budget, and assign your project manager.

5. Start Adding Tasks & Materials

Open your new project. Add the key stages (Milestones) and daily to-do items (Tasks). If you track materials like steel or cement, add them in the Inventory tab!
