Task Views & Site Schedules¶
Planmaster gives your project managers and field teams clear ways to track tasks depending on the operational context: the Milestone Schedule View, the Task Details Workspace, and the Executive Dashboard View.
1. Milestone Task Schedule View¶
Inside each milestone (/milestones/:id), tasks are presented in a structured schedule:
- Progress Percentage: Auto-calculated completion bar based on closed tasks.
- Priority Indicator: Color-coded badges (
High,Medium,Low) highlighting critical path activities. - Assignee: Clear ownership showing which engineer or supervisor is accountable for site delivery.
- Due Dates: Target inspection deadlines, highlighted if approaching or overdue.
- Blockers Badge: Shows whether active site impediments are currently blocking the task.
2. Task Details Workspace View¶
Clicking directly on any task title opens its full management workspace (/tasks/:id). Use this view for:
- Morning Standup Checklists: Checking off step-by-step subtasks during site inspections.
- Daily Timesheet Logging: Logging individual or crew hours spent on that work package.
- Site Blocker Resolution: Flagging delays for immediate management escalation and checking them off when cleared.
- Consultant Collaboration: Exchanging technical notes and clarifications in the comments feed.
3. Executive Dashboard View¶
For directors and senior project managers who need to oversee multiple sites at once, the main company dashboard (/dashboard) provides instant task visibility:
- Open Tasks Counter: Real-time count of all active tasks across all company contracts.
- Overdue Tasks Counter: Flags any task that has passed its scheduled due date without completion.
- Active Blockers Card: Direct shortcut to every blocked task across the company, enabling executives to intervene with clients or suppliers without waiting for monthly meetings.
